Umbrella Insurance and LLC?
8 July 2017 | 13 replies
Kimberly,In terms of your predicament I am guessing you currently have a personal lines policy protecting your properties and most personal lines carriers do not like to have LLC as the named insured on their policies. What I would suggest doing is obtaining a commercial lines policy, they have absolutely no problem writing a policy with an LLC and have the same ease in adding multiple properties to the policy whenever you want. Not sure of the markets out in Illinois but look for Hanover and Mercury, they are both good at scheduling mulitple properties on a General Liability/Property Package(sometimes call a businessowners policy or BOP).Not only will you have the ease of adding properties but also you typically will have higher limits of liability AND lower premiums.Hope this helps!

AC problem again-- what to do now

5.Location of the vents and the returns. If they ran the returns improperly into the garage etc. it could cause a problem. If there is low air pressure the lines could be having needing tape or being pinched as mentioned earlier or the runs and angles could be wrong.6.Where is the air vents located at for each room. They used to put them on the floor but the problem is they would get covered up with curtains etc. and the builder would not center them in front of the window like they were supposed to.In these cases relocating the vent worked wonders for air flow. The air flow and coldness was great it was just being blocked creating hot zones in the room.7.Is the thermostat the old mercury switch kind or the new electrical ones??
