Meaning, the rate could be higher.....or the loan might be shorter (like a 15 year loan or something)....or the rate might be a variable rate.....and I have most certainly seen ALL THREE of those on some loans of this type.I would certainly tackle the questionnaire item first.

It has been 15 months now and I have certainly learned a lot.The answer really comes down to what you plan on tackling yourself vs what you plan on hiring out.Rent Collection can be a pain if you are waiting on a check to be mailed to you or if you go door to door collecting BUT there are several online options available now that make it much easier.Accounting is not too bad, just make sure you are doing it regularly...I spend about 30 mins-1 hour per week and it is very doable...just make the time for it and stay consistent.Maintenance is by far the most difficult aspect...if you are not a handy man then you will need to hire out the repair.

I understand managing the tenants may be a headache, but I am confident the information i've been consuming here on the site, from the book (on managing rental property) and the bp podcast that i along with my "core 4" should be able to tackle most if not all issues in regards to undesirable tenants.
