As for lead generation I think all the methods( there's a word I like better, method) for getting leads are great: bandit signs, a sign on your car, a sign at your work, business cards, direct mail, conversations with people who seen your sign, flyers, t-shirts with your logo, a handshake.

Pretty cheap to do, we pick up a stack of blank slips at the branch once in a while and had an ink stamp made up with our account name and info.Keep it simple!

You don't have to look for the mailman, the tenant doesn't have to look for a stamp, it can't get lost, and you don't have to worry about tenants floating bad checks.

While this definitely speeds up the process, it still takes multiple hours to print, many more to stuff and stamp, and then there is the learning curve.Doesn't seem to meet your goal of automating.
