I do Tax Prep and Bookkeeping on the side for a local accountant, and for 2 years I worked as a property scout (Bird Dog) for a local investor. 

He also recommended I speak with an CPA to get a perspective on the tax and book keeping side. 

I spend hours after work almost every day doing many real estate tasks:- bookkeeping- viewing properties- checking on projects- analzing potential deals- scheduling contractors- meeting contractors at job sites- posting on BP- etc.Having said that, I also make sure I keep a balance in my life.

I'm still learning the ins and outs of proper accounting and bookkeeping terminology, but I believe the bottom line is that she essentially made a loan to our LLC.

Hello, how did everyone find a bookkeeper who is well versed in real estate investing businesses?

He is the CFO and bookkeeper.

I feel I am delegating my jobs out well but it's not meeting my goal.I do the bookkeeping through Quickbooks which is another thing that I am currently tackling, the finances.

I am realizing my strength lies on the opposite side of the spectrum from bookkeeping. 

So, I propose you handle the Property Management and bookkeeping; which will include you handling the paying out of bills and dispersing funds.

From reading some of your blogs, you appear to be a painter, handyman, property manager, and book keeper just to name a few.
