So any handouts that you refer to of your tax dollars is misguided.The green"movement" is not dwindling simply because it is a natural progression of science and economics.

I have very little capital at the moment since I am still in college and have to work while doing school full time, but I am very eager to dip my toe into the water of this fascinating industry. 

The only difference between W2 and business is on W2, half the taxes are paid by employers, and on a business you are both employer and employee. it's not rocket science.
