New to investing

Hello, my name is Glenn Penamora and I am currently an undergrad student at the University of Alaska Anchorage. As of now, I am a senior and will be receiving my BBA in Business Management with a Concentration in Property Management and Real Estate in May of 2024.

I do not have any experience with investing in Real Estate but I have learned quite a bit about the industry through my school’s program that I hope to put to use sooner rather than later.

Although I do not have much experience with investing, I do have a little bit of experience in property management after spending the Summer of 2022 interning with Weidner Apartment Homes.

Eventually, I want to start investing in small multi-family properties, but I am still not entirely sure where or how to start. I have very little capital at the moment since I am still in college and have to work while doing school full time, but I am very eager to dip my toe into the water of this fascinating industry.

I love the Bigger Pockets podcast because of how incredibly informative it is. So many different insights and useful information that are relevant to a plethora of different investor’s ideologies.

Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you have a fruitful and blessed day.

Hey Glenn,

Good to see you! I hope life (and school) is treating you well!

We host a local real estate investors meetup that we'd love for you to join!

The next meetup is Sept 28th at the 49th state brewery private room!
