I love to watch stand up comedy but so far no one has done a routine about "games tenants play" and what happens when landlords uphold their rules.

They will routinely stack their Amazon boxes up high next to the furnaces and boilers.

We travel often abroad and when we are away from routine, she is a lot more open to listen about “crazy” ideas since she is away from stress and problems.

My property manager will email me a heads up for routine repairs that they don't even need authorization for out of courtesy.  

Money was something to be budgeted and used to live on with occasional indulgences or escapes from the routine.

Please note that changing the AC filter and cleaning the AC air intake closet should be done once every 30 days as part of routine maintenance.The Air filter on the AC had not been changed since you first moved in (Dec 2015) and the new replacement you bought was not the right size.

Let them know you will schedule something in a few months when you are there to do xyz (some routine maintenence) basically to see if there is anything in the house that needs attention.

The MA rules for handling of the security deposit are very restrictive (read that as overly ridiculous) and mishandling of that deposit routinely results in triple damages to the landlord. 

I find it hard to imagine that tenants in Puerto Rico routinely have so much cash on hand.
