So far I have gotten granite counter tops and stainless steel finishing (like appliances), but do any of the pros out there have any tips to help me define the term further? 

Along with making needed repairs, I have already added or plan on granite countertops, SS appliances, engineered wood, and new carpet, which will make me just as good or slightly better than the comps.

Is that also pertaining to advanced cosmetic work such as cabinetry, countertops, doors, windows etc.

Then, if you want new cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, etc., you'll spend more. 

And they said they would never do that again bc after they had promised the tenant a full refund, they discovered a cutting board had been glued to the countertop (among other damages, like a hole in the carpet that they hid by standing over the area during the walk-thru).  

They had just updated to Brazilian hardwood floors, new stone tiles in the kitchens, counter tops and cherry cabinets. 

. - where did you source your kitchen counter-tops, and do you mind sharing the cost for those?
