I have several observations good and bad.As with lots of these kind of organizations there is a TON of up sells.

@Robert Matelski These are all great observations; first, we must note that no reasonable investor is just buying property off of what they see in a map at a quick glance.

I haven't done anything yet in the business cause I'm learning and observing but I realize now more then ever I need to build a network while I look for that right deal.What I'd like to do is get into buying foreclosures, short sales, REO's, and distressed properties and flip them while I save up enough for a down payment for large multi-family i.e. 5-10 unit properties.

With the recent price increase, we are observing a significant appreciation in the Condo space as well.So there are definitely some good rental investment option that do exist in Calgary!

I have recently observed some crazy rents on ads posted recently, I am interested to see if those homes rent quickly or not. $2990 a month for a newer 4/3.5 in Southe Point.
