It's an unoccupied duplex in a so-so part of town (but on the border of a good school district, which was part of the appeal.)  

Detroit sits on an international border and two countries are collaborating on Detroit's growth and emergence as an international destination.AS it relates to having the right team on the ground, that is true, which is where companies like ours come into play.

Quaility of living is high, cost is low and we have a very diverse economy that is humming nicely at an unempyment rate that is so low that businesses are recruiting across the state border. 

Being in a border town definitely requires cultural knowledge especially in business situations.

Owning property all over the US sounds exciting and there are no borders for me.

GVR is within that border and I would consider it myself if I needed to live down that way.

Will likely be turning heads in the next couple of years with its growing port and connection to the eagleford shale.South Texas / Rio Grande Valley / Texas-Mexico border = international trade and business abounds here.
