Hi all,Looking for anyone who has property management experience with Mulit-unit (non-senior) HUD Project properties.There is a ~30 unit property in Ohio that I have under contract but the PM I am in discussions with is saying that they need a much larger budget for maintenance, administration, etc. then the current operator is showing.On the one hand, I respect the PM, feel that they are trustworthy and they want to take this on.

It is a way to invest out of state, while having a trust worthy partner with boots on the ground that knows the local markets and has a team assembled.

I get this situation a lot, and for me, I have my brother on site that shows the property.To me, this sounds like scam for the following reasons:1) If the landlord is in a different state, he will most likely get someone trustworthy to show his properties.

However, as long as you can provide them with an IBAN or SWIFT code for your bank and the necessary routing information for your branch and account, there should be little problem.Another way which is easier and most often cheaper is to use Paypal - provided the candidate lives in a country where s/he has access to Paypal.You can also use Western Union, but it has been the centre of so many international scams over the years that it may not be viewed as trustworthy by the candidate.There are also several ForEx services on-line these days, some of which will wire money for far less than a bank.
