Fees: I was told 4 points and a $999 fee to cover the survey, termite inspection and appraisal.Now what actually happened at closing: the $999 fee was NOT for the above mentioned items.

I would need to submit paperwork to have it corrected which requires 4 to 60 days by FEMA, but I would need a survey and elevation certificate.

There are some rumblings about the county changing the rules on number of allowable nights and they’re sending surveys around about it right now to gauge public sentiment, so we have a back up plan of sticking entirely with medium term/ corporate rentals if they end up further reducing the number of nights.
