In my market of Pittsburgh PA the taxes may get reassessed but it could happen 12 months from now or 6 years from the date of purchase.

Buy and hold in Detroit, Pittsburgh, Baltimore from the 1970's forward probably was a bad idea.

Hello all,I just moved to Pittsburgh several months ago and my goal for 2020 is to purchase my first investment property.

It seems inaccurate to me considering that Pittsburgh, Pa has over 300,000 population, but under Weirton-Steubenville under which the encompassing combined statistical area including; Pittsburgh-New Castle-Weirton, PA-OH-WV combined statistical are shows 120, 520 population in 2015.  

I'm invested personally in many markets in Ohio, but my market here in Steubenville (Close to Pittsburgh) we're seeing out of town investors for buy and hold purposes.

Located along the Ohio River 33 miles from Pittsburgh, it had a population of 18,659 at the 2010 census.

I bought my first property (a duplex in Pittsburgh) three months ago.  

I live in Pittsburgh, but bought a duplex that we fixed up and now live in for free (tenants pay all the expenses).
