To make sure it was taken care of, we installed drain tile, a sump pump, regraded the foundation, and put in an egress window which resulted in a much brighter, much drier, and much more legal bedroom.

I'm a little nervous that the housing market may take a tumble over the next 12-24 months but it doesn't make sense to wait for the perfect entry point; I'm going to work toย find the best deal I can and see where things go from there.In the meantime, I've reconnected with the local agent we used to purchase a teardown lot for our house a few years ago, and I plan to start engaging with property management companies and other real estate investors in my area.That's about all I have at the moment, looking forward to engaging with everyone here as well!

I fully suspect that the disorganized, rumble tumble way of the rehab, flippers and buy-and-hold rental community will be disrupted by the growing expansion of Wall Street, new state laws, government housing and regulated firms that will disrupt our real estate industry in the decades aheadโ€ฆ Maybe sooner.

This is bad news for the remaining (i.e. small) investors who have to fight for the crumbs.The scary part is if any one of these few buyer pools or banks has a change of direction, the house of cards can tumble -- or 43% of it according to the article.

I could easily get 4 washers and 4 driers down there. that sounds like an expensive thing to do but that would keep the other place producing income which I love. the condition isnt great on the inside apartments. they all from what I saw today need some cosmetic work. but they're all rented also which is nice.
