I don't believe that politicians have the authority to determine guilt or punishment in judicial matters.I've noticed that over the past 10 years or so, there has been a movement by our government and by many right-wing commentators AWAY from the Constitution, and I believe it's having a negative impact on our country as a whole.

While it's true that anyone can sue anybody and everybody for anything, many lawsuits are settled on terms favorable to the defendant merely because of the entity holding title.The headlines are made when a huge judgement is entered or when a judge or jury elect to throw out corporate law and "punish" a particular individual by piercing the entity veil.

And therein lies the challenge; some banks don't care (the ones that make sense), and some banks are out to prove a point by wanting to "punish" the borrower by blacklisting them from the property via a document called an "arm's length affidavit".

Someone who will punish you for it if you ask for it early, and charge you fees either way when it's time to take it out.
