STNL industrial is also a good one right now ( Fedex and or Amazon type hubs).Your place a restaurant and dry cleaners would have to know the credit mix.

Vegas being a tourist hub and all tourist hubs might have some much bigger hills to climb back up.

Hawaii has better weather (best in the world many would say), world class hiking and scenery (often a 5-10 minute drive, as opposed to 1-2 hours from a city in CA), better beaches by far, better surfing, less taxes and less red tape, more landlord friendly in HI (can evict in 3 weeks), better travel hub to Asia, etc.CA and NY residents suffer from the same fate.

There’s a few strong business hubs with high home values and quick access to a vibrate community.

@John Walter As a home-owner (house-hacker) and active RE agent in Bayonne I can tell you there has been a lot of investment/development along Broadway and around all 4 light rail "hubs". 

Isn't Nashville a large hub for short term rental?
