Its 2700 sq ft, 5 bed 2 bath (basement is unfinished and you can finish the 3rd bath).

But it's a 3/2 and I think I could rent it for $1000-1200, has a lot of NEW things already in it (AC/heating, kitchen cabinets, appliances, flooring) but bedrooms need to be finished remodeling.

It's a good practice to provide notice in writing, and to indicate the time that you left the unit when you are finished.

Or, once you finish your exchange you can immediately do a cash out refi, which is not a taxable event and you can use that for any purpose you want.
