It would be a major hit to the real estate market and economy and I think there are enough smart people to stop it.I had a meeting last week with my accountant here in liberal tax you to hell Oregon.. and he thought these proposals had about zero chance of actually passing.. he mentioned that many Democrats also do 1031 and want stepped up basis etc etc..
