Otherwise, I would check with your local zoning/planning department to confirm that you can add tiny homes to the property and what inspections/septic systems need to be set up.

I know that in Mississippi the rule of thumb seems to be that as long as the lot can meet the frontage requirements, construction is permitted.I would contact the Shelby county building department and ask them exactly what you asked here for a clear answer. https://www.develop901.com/

City of Greensboro NC the department of housing pays for a 3 bedroom unit a sum of about $1700/month for section 8 tenant.If you buy a 3 BR SFH property for less than 160k then you can make at a minimum of 300 per month per unit considering all expenses other than property management.If you include that then reduce anoth 80-100.This is all assuming interest rate of 7%.

Their departments are segregated so the new ones don't learn anything from the successful ones, their teams tend to skew engineer heavy with little thought for user experience, and their products rarely integrate in a sensible way since they are so segregated.

That way, 1) you should get the money up front when they leave instead of having to chase them down for it and 2) it makes the accounting easier and less likely the departing tenant will dispute the charge.
