Unfortunately STR mixed with homeowners and families don't work well together, even in rural areas.Outside of the destination type spots for AirBNBs, I do have a few that are in very, very good areas of their respective cities.

(these condos have nearly tripled in value over the last 10 yrs due to a huge part of the AirBnb trend).Here is one that just hit the market this week: https://www.redfin.com/WA/Leav...However, STR and vacation homes are NOT allowed in any of the Residential Zone Districts of the city, the multi-family zone or its Urban Growth Area.I'm from the area and personally, I like Leavenworth the best for the STR strategy because it's a true 4 season destination, there is very, very limited stay options and it's just a few hours from Seattle (no flights needed).
