These places are anomalies in the real estate world, and there are many factors (supply/demand, insurance costs, regulation, etc) that cause them to be disproportionately more expensive than the rest of the country.While the methodologies in the book will work for any place in the country (and perhaps much of the world), there will be a few select places where the price ranges are too narrow.
