My brother and I have inherited and old Victorian home that’s completely payed off that I believe needs quite a bit of work (foundation, roofing and no central heat or air in place) but we have little capital.

It’s a 3 bed/2 bath 1776 sq ft Victorian.

Then we pulled up to this awesome brick 4 square with a little victorian swag.

I can't find much, but see the downtown area as having huge potential with the old victorians within walking distance with some of the improvements currently happening, particularly the Colonial theater. 

I remember an engineer telling me that there was rock on the west side of 35 and victorian clay soil on the  east.

@Jay Hinrichs  I didn't realize the city sidewalk area was owned by the corresponding homeowner until my sister, who owns a Victorian townhouse in Wilmington DE, was required by the city to have the bumpy sidewalk rebuilt.
