As for the stone foundation, as long as it's fairly dry I dont see why you cant just mount ridgid foam board up to that too. 

They sell units that can be mounted outside and do not need to be separately vented.  

It was a 1000 sq ft 2/1 in Mount Vernon and we rehabed it for 94 days and nervously went on the market April 5 asking for $299k.

If you have the budget, I'd look to replace the countertop with quartz (being the trend of the day) with an under-mounted sink.

I did child support collections a few decades ago and got a lien on property being sold so we got the proceeds, income tax returns, seized and sold vehicles, garnished bank accounts, firearms, tap the till of taking money out the cash register, had a person searched and their money taken, and last but not least seized a big horn sheep mount.
