So the banks that have been sitting on these foreclosures can now unload them in a relatively hot market.There are still good deals out there, but they may not have boarded up windows and smelly carpet.

It sounds to me like refinancing with a bank at 5% is a much better option to get the private lenders off the hook and you could move on and either rent afterwards or try to unload it again once the market picks back up come spring time.

Don: I think in Brooklyn, New York since the investor competitition is so fierce that the seller who has a property who has a lot of equity and the property was located in a good neighborhood knew that he couldn't waste any time in unloading this property.
