Advantages/disadvantages?

I want to step up my REI activity and income and am seriously considering getting my real estate license.I would appreciate some feedback from agents about some specific advantages/disadvantages in having a license in conjunction with my REI business.

I live in a very disadvantaged area. 

I would like to hear the advantage and disadvantage of the fees v deposit.     

There are obvious benefits to cash flow in ANY business, but there are also some disadvantages at CERTAIN times to CERTAIN people.

There is so much possibility AND there are a lot of disadvantaged folks living in town. 

Their early deals have the advantage of time, but the greater disadvantage of their experience.

Plenty of disadvantages though. 

I would say the one disadvantage when looking for these deals is many investors are not educated on the markets.

I personally dont know much about an LLC but after reading this great message from all you guys wants to make me set one up for myself.How long is the process and for us Real Estate Investors should we just get the basic one if there is one because i thought i read an article on the web about 3 different kind which is the basic,standard and more advance i could be wrong im also going to start calling some companies that help you set up an LLC and try to get as much information as possible about advantages and Disadvantages and State fees for the State of California.Also is it recommended to get an LLC in a different state like lets say Nevada or Arizona because of tax advantages...HAPPY INVESTING..
