Hi all, I am a newbie looking to get involved in real estate investing in the Florida panhandle area( Pensacola to Destin) and working on building my team.

Furthermore, the beach side community has been in limbo for the last 20+ years and can't seem to figure out how to fix the crime and homeless issues that plague an area that could easily become one of the better vacation destinations in Florida.

I'm considering doing something similar in another vacation destination...vacation rentals.Best,Jon

The only new construction that I have sold to investors was a 25 home project I did up in Hood River OR that is a world class wind surfing destination and Airbnb is huge there.. we sold a few to people that were going to do that.but of the 200 plus homes I have built over the last few years in the Portland market not one went to an investor NOT one.

Once you get into the routine of electric there is simply no going back to ICE cars at least for me.. you never service them.. there is no schedule service.. you just get in and drive and if you charge every might like my daughter you always have a full tank.now were your limited is in rural driving.. for taking trips at this time the superchargers are on many of the main interstates but not all.. like you cant take highway 50 across Nevada ( the loneliest road in America) however many hotels now if your going to a destination have chargers they have to adapt just like apartments are going to have to adapt. not much on the details but I know my charger cable that came with the car that hooks into 240 is very thick.. its not a normal extension cord like for running a power tool.. so not sure on the limitations on that one running it out your window.. and in many apartments that are not all that close to parking not sure how that would work with trip fall etc. its very interesting to see how this all flush's out I am sure Tesla will have something they seem to be the innovators 

I am new to all of this and I am beginning to try and figure out which type of properties I want to invest in.  I am contemplating on investing close to my house outside of Philadelphia in Delaware and Chester Countie...

Portland used to be a vacation destination and probably will be again, but currently has some rebuilding to do.
