On those direct vented high efficiency systems, the air intake pipe can be blocked by trash flying around outdoors on a windy day; the air intake sucks outdoor air, and those plastic grocery bags flying around are ideal for blocking that air flow. 

The other property is more of an albatross, not necessarily a result of the tenant just sometimes what you end up with is a mixed bag.

It would be better that they bring the material and show you the receipts for the authenticity of the products.
