Considering the book is aimed at pretty new investors who WILL be hands on, investing with an IRA can be difficult if you follow all of the rules, especially if you want to be a hands on person.

Thanks guys for all your advice.I should have prefaced my post by saying that I have been educating myself on biggerpockets.com and reading every book I could find for the last 2 years, that being said, I realize that a person never stops learning so that's why I am here, to continue learning.I have attended a couple REI investor club meetings in my area but maybe I just haven't met the right person yet that would be interested in partnering or mentoring me on my first project.Again, thanks for your advise!

I went to Amazon and look for books on rental property and landlording and the first book I picked is "How to Rent Your Hose" by Brandon Turner.
