One of the online surveys says that the house might not get any appreciation after 2022 and home prices may decline in the 2022-2027 time period in the area of Travis county.

This week alone we had our Cabinet contractor, cleaning person, 2 survey companies and lawn care company all no show no call for the second time this month.  

That's where you are surveying your friends, family, co-workers, people who potentially would live with you or rent a room now to find out what they are paying, want to pay, or would be willing to pay.   

You may want to go talk with your county about that right away, and ask for a survey that will account for splitting the lot.  

We did a survey and found 200 of the 320 units were willing to pay $25/mo for covered parking (summer is hot in Dallas and winter can bring hail at times).  

Unless it is a recorded plat in a subdivision, I would get a survey to make sure you know the boundaries of the property.

Who did you use for land planning, survey, structural, architect and contractor?

It is under contract with me and after initialy survey done, the land has a lot of sensitive area and found that I can only build a house based on R4 zoning.

To summarize the construction costs thus far:Planning & Lot $57,763: Lot purchase, plans, survey, permit, closingDirtwork, undergrounds & Slab $39,896: Dirtwork, fill, forms, culvert, plumbing, diggers, termite spray, cables, concrete.In addition, I ordered the exterior doors and windows because these items have a 2-week lead time.
