It's near a rough area but this is definitely a better part as it is a couple minutes from public transportation train (Greenville part of Jersey City for those who are familiar).

Generally the converted space isn't that great and reclaiming a enclosed garage I believe brings greater value.If you do so how will that impact the square footage and value?

The gas range is butted against the wall and creating a burn mark on the wall.Patio awning needs to be replaced.New exterior doors.New garage door.Some concrete/brick work around the front steps and in the driveway.Replace glass in window on enclosed porch.The owner does not currently have a mortgage and is looking to relocate to California in a couple of weeks.
