As a Canadian, if I wanted to self manage I wouldn't have been able to buy US properties during the credit crisis.

I am new to property investment and I was wondering if anyone has experience with Canadian investing in the US.how hard is it to get financing from US bank , I know that Canadian bank offer mortgages for US properties but how long would the process take ?

Hey I invest in Saskatchewan Canada. Fairly new but I’m interested in multifamily in the states.  Any do’s and dont’s recommendations? 

I, however, live in Canada where these contracts may not work but the Canadian government provides contracts for things such as rental agreements that are standard across each province.
