Now onto the real estate...If you truly want to protect yourself against STR regulations only purchase property with the intent of operating as an STR where these three principles apply: (1) the use is allowed, (2) the use requirements are protected by in place permitting and licensing and (3) the permissions are transferable through a sale.

Given the size of the transactions generally offered on crowdfunding sites, there aren’t enough secondary trades large enough to make the economics work systematically (besides the regulatory constraints) for Broker/Dealers to be incentivized to help LPs to redeem their positions via a sale/transfer to a new investor before the end of the investment period.

If you want it to be a business name, then I recommend you set up an LLC, transfer ownership to the LLC, and then change your leases to match the new owner name.What is your reasoning?

I've been able to get 0% APY balance transfer for 12mo before from Chase and Amex by doing this on a card I already had and I got a 1% balance transfer fee vs the normal 3-5%.
