Hi, I have a question of protocol.My tenant changed out the thermostat in his unit without asking my permission.

My tenant changed out the thermostat in the unit (a lease violation) which caused the heat in the unit to not function.

I have a family member who was a computer programmer and would pay his rent six months in advance so he didn't have to worry about it every month.

When I want to have changes made my programmer gives me a reasonable price and makes them quickly. 

I have a house out of town that I am working on and have installed a programmable combination lock for contractors to come and look at the property. 

Typically this problem occurs when you have the thermostat on the main floor, where most of the air flow is needed.

I am also a pretty good programmer systems person.anyways, would be great to meet you wonderful southern folks in Cary, Raleigh, chapel hill, durham in the triangle area.best,Mike

Its just a matter of communicating your idea to a programmer, and their ability to code it.
