Especially fan blades and light fixtures that hang from the ceiling :) And probably smoke detectors that are on the ceiling too.You don't ever know what sort of malice or mischief a previous tenant may have been up to, so it's your job to make sure there is nothing that's going to fall on a tenant's head!

In addition, I tend to do things like install quarter-turn shutoffs on all the water lines, make sure smoke detectors are installed, all lights are working etc.

It's wise to install a CO detector in every home.
