Dan your market/assets/tenants are on a totally different level than a good majority of the rest of the country. 

I've dabbled in learning different areas before, but never been focused.

But now with the joy and headaches of non-metered units, trying to wrangle 3 different set's of persons into playing nice, etc etc.. 

This book introduced me to financial concepts and made me look at money and investing in a completely different way.

Very big difference and be surprised if you had rats to be honest.

I’m potentially looking to purchase a mid-term or long-term rental property in a different state because I feel I may be able to find better deals elsewhere.

I have done a lot of these for my own portfolio, but am wondering if the tax implications are different if we do a cash out refinance for this partnership LLC and then have to "distribute" the funds to the members.
