It’s wonderful to see you exploring a new path in real estate!

Here’s an example, I just took a trip across the country, and decided to visit some “popular“ OOS investment neighborhoods that are promoted here on BP.

My goal is to become a successful investor and eventually build wealth through real estate, and I’m hoping to find mentorship and guidance from those who’ve walked this path before me.If anyone has any tips, advice, or would be open to sharing their experiences, I’d love to connect!

@Fakaradin Floyd, it has been very pleasant following your path, thanks for updating us. 

I'm not saying its the best are in the country. 

But in a place like this part of CA were its reversed the land is worth 80% of the total value not 20% like most other areas of the country yet the bank requires insurance for the total amount of the loan even though the build cost to replace is far less..

That may be the path for a year or two while you figure this out.

I do not know him, but the path he is leading you is a difficult path    Note difficult does not imply impossible; there are people who are successful with S8 housing    In my area s8 is so undesirable that they write laws trying to make it challenging to not allow S8 tenants.  

You don't have to fly halfway across the country to try and figure all of that out.
