There is the options of totally change up what/where your trying to do things.

But you are required to file a Schedule E in the US every year showing the total rents you received, the expenses you had against those  rents and your subsequent profit or loss. 

But I pay my property manager to handle it so I would be really upset and feel totally threatened if a random renter who I didn't know came knocking on my door.Yes, this is a business.
