Should I get into contracting with a flipper or custoM home builder for 50k a year 1099 and start my own llc and be a “real estate professional” and learn the ins and outs while making less money at first,  or take a sales job 9-5 that makes 150k a year w2 and build up capital first. 

Here in the Reno Tahoe, NV area there are new builds that the builder is offering financing in the 5% range.

For jobs like this in the future I plan to run as owner/builder and hire/schedule subs myself.

Until builders can catch up and create millions of homes, I think we will continue to see huge increases in sales prices, however, the lack of sellers means numbers in terms of how many houses sold will continue to go down driving prices up even higher

You can typically see seller builder names listed then you can research the LLC and get a contact via google or county parcel search.

I"m interested in chatting with builders, contractors, property owners who have used either of these tools to see what you liked/ didn't like about either.

I am keen on establishing connections with fellow professionals such as entrepreneurs, builders, real estate agents, and architects operating in this domain.
