Knowing that you couldn't accept section 8 because you didn't have a permit and knowing that new york and many other areas now require landlords to accept section 8 - well moreso that you cannot block section 8 - why didn't you let them apply and just deny them with no reason? 

Hi All,My wife and I just purchased a larger house on our block, and plan to keep our current home as a rental.

It is my understanding that the STR rules in Cleveland are as follows: - Density limits: In residential districts, STRs can't make up more than 15% of the total homes on a block or units in a multi-unit building.

I was already considering putting up a wood or vinyl fence to create a decent outdoor space for my tenant but that will only block the sight in the back. 

For the money you will pay to invest on the 1600 block of N 27th street, you are better off buying in Germantown/East Mount Airy where the fundamentals are better or spending more to be in a better neighborhood.

All family stays or blocked nights for work projects are not counted at all.

Block off the fireplace so they can't use it.

The main issue is that half of the acreage is blocked by a creek which I'd have to build a means to cross. 

I am unsure as to the foundation of the cottage, but the modular portion appears to have been a poured slab (approx. 5" deep) with concrete block skirting.
