I have a list of addresses in my target area.I have the budget set for my first batch of yellow letters.I have an google voice account and vm to start recieving calls and a script that I will follow when screening prospective sellers.What I don't have is a good letter.

I have pulled all of the Absentee Owners for the area by zipcode and I am finishing up my second round of yellow letters with the last batch of letters going out tommorow.

But, you can also batch and rank applications and process them in order of rank, as long as your ranking criteria is not unlawfully discriminatory and you are clear with all applicants that you will be accepting applications during a defined time frame and using that method.

I bet over 80% who send out first batch and fail never do another ... as for us Californians its like those that got rich in the gold mining days.. they were the one's selling the pots and pans  :)  best of luck

At least not until you've done plenty of other deals.You'll wasted much tine sleeping down to the courthouse after your first few batches of data collection but that us still valuable research.
