People buying in areas with rented properties, only to find out the renter was a sham.

Been here my whole life, and with the market looking the way it is, I think it would be a shame to not try and get in on the action around here. :)

unless you're being nice to your parents, seems a shame to have 100k in equity (before COS) plus be in debt 300k  to get 300/month before expenses.  

Wow it's a shame that I missed that, thank you for telling me about it I will have to make sure that I make the next one. 

However, doing this  over and over again  will then show most likely that your partnership  is a sham for the purpose of circumventing agency and licensing laws, once or twice, okay, as a business model, no.Folks need to learn about business before trying to go into the real estate business!

It would be a shame for your husband to lose his brother over $100 profit a month.
