There are some  things people do not share, like their calculator - its like asking Popeye's for KFC's secret ingredients.

Still, some are primarily in the BP blog and are posting on articles there daily.But, I still see some great investors on here and really good responses.Patience, persistence and authenticity are the magic ingredients to building great relationships, and even a great reputation if that is what you are after, here on BP. 

I'd never say never, but it would be tough even in a buyer's market and this isn't a buyer's market.To do the job you're doing, you have the most important ingredient to be successful - you know how to work.

I see a lot of people get into partnerships for the wrong reason or too early.I think you get into a partnership because other people have skills / traits that you don't have.You normally need 3 ingredients in real estate to be successful - Time, Knowledge and Money.Which do you have and which do you need?

I basically saved a few thousand dollars at the expense of a few hundred thousand at the end of the day.The most important ingredient in RE is time.

I’m also thinking about marketing to prospects that have a smaller amount of competition such as properties in run down areas or properties that are days away from auction.I’ve been trying to get my second deal for the last 6 months now am I’m wondering if my first deal was a fluke and aggression is the key ingredient I’m missing.

@Will Haines It sounds like you have many of the ingredients needed to get started.

To me, if the corner is to the left of the range after say an 18 inch seht of drawers bottom cabinet, it's useful for stovetop cooking, laying out ingredients, etc... but add a two door base in place of the 18" and it becomes storage for appliances (which need a home too).
