Forgive me that I'm a bit of a slow learner.

this has been a crazy, crazy ride, and it's far from over...i'm a social learner, so I'm very thankful for Bigger Pockets and all you have already taught me!

We are lifelong learners who like to apply knowledge, set goals, develop a plan, and take action.

I know, because it took me 19 years to figure out the answer.( You will not find any posts anywhere where I ever claim to be a fast learner.)My 37 years of real estate investing has taught me (first 19 spent figuring out answer to your question) that decisions like the one you're deciding to make have to be made based on a big picture, overall real estate strategy, i.e. buy and hold, buy and sell, etc.I floundered and didn't accomplish much until I really had a long talk with myself and decided on a big picture, overall strategy.

What I do know about myself is that I’m a fast learner and math used to be my favorite subject in school.

Currently house hacking it and in the works of adding a 2bd/1ba ADUSince then I’ve been continuing to read and study real estate but I’m more of a hands on learner and I ’ve been itching to get out In the field, check out some developments/properties, and connect with experienced investorsI’m seeking a mentorship/friendship with a seasoned investor with whom I can grow and create value We can grab a coffee, lunch, or visit one of your properties and I can roll my sleeves up and get my hands dirty and assist in any way!

@Joe Funari thank I actually want to just dive in and learn while going in the journey because I’m a hands on learner the obstacles that I’m facing is not knowing what or rather how and where to start especially from being basic REI knowledge, financially limited state so I’m trying to find out as much as possible to get to the point of jumping in

"In NW Indiana, our courts are starting to shift away from the conservativeness most of the state has due to the liberals moving in from Chicagoland"Probably having direct flights from Portland to NW Indiana doesn't help either :)I don't get it either, people leave Cali to get away from screw-ups running the state and then they vote for the same screw-ups in the new place - Slow learners or product of the public school system is my guess.

I'm passionate about renovations and constructions, attentive to details, fast learner, team player.
