Hey Dawn,My Fiancee and I looked into this and on the surface it seemed like a great way to get an education in real estate but after digging a little further we found that the people in our area, greater Boston, were really only making money at getting more people to sign up and very few were making money on actual deals. 

The landlord has to do $600 worth of improvements (Fix the 3 front steps going into the house, replace a window that was old and broke when hail hit it, scrape and paint some exposed wood surfaces), that cost has to go somewhere.

The product appears to be based on the same concept as plaster and lathe; the holes allow the plaster to form a "key" on the top side preventing the plaster from separating from the surface.
