Those jobs pay less, everyone agrees, but they (1) teach basic work ethics, like showing up on time, and (2) can actually start a career, and you can one day become a manager at the same stores.Without the first step, I don't know how we can have people start being productive (not making judgement on those who choose to stay at home, I could have done the same in the same situation).

And regardless if the homes are in foreclosure or not.. the states just made it that much tougher when the seller is in distress or foreclosure as there was so much foreclosure bail out fraud.. and FLA with there rules on judgements led the nation in companies offering bail out services that were themselves just crooks in the crisis I rescued ( real rescued ) so many that sent 1k or 2k to these companies in florida that were just out and out thieves.. never did anything for the homeowner and remember many homewoners are pretty naïve to the way of real estate and just trust..

I'd have half a month's rent (in sec dep) and only 15 days notice to evict the person and repair the unit.In Philly PA, the owner usually gets 3 months upfront - 1st, last and security deposit, so there's more flexibility.It's probably also different if you have the tools to take people to court to garnish wages for unpaid rent and damage judgements.
