Stumbled on this old thread looking for specific areas to focus SFR and Multifamily long term holds in the LV area.

I'm a firm believer in making deals, not stumbling upon them on the MLS>. 

How did you stumble upon turnkey rental properties?

I stumbled across a duplex and the description states it's part of eportfolio - 12 MFR, 37 SFR. 

Then we stumbled onto some videos within the last 2-3 years showing tornado damage, hurricane, and major flooding.

That's ok, but you need to put some thought into it so you aren't running around at every shiny object you stumble across.There are cash flowing deals in Detroit to be had even if you're borrowing the full purchase price at 8% interest.

Stumbled on Lodgify and it looks pretty cool.

I stumbled upon bigger pockets while doing investment research on Asset Protection, land trust, etc.
