We just started discussions with prospective consultants on the EB-5 program and how it may work with our proposal to develop a new NFL stadium for the San Diego Chargers.Preliminary indications are that our project, in the $1.6B range, is likely a suitable "regional center" for the deployment of EB-5 investment funds.I'd be happy to share my experiences with the program as our effort evolves.

From time to time, I sell a property to an owner occupant if I feel equity or prices have risen to a point it is better deployed elsewhere or to reduce leverage.

Sell the rental asset and deploy that into something larger ( or multiples of smaller) that has a better return. 

I'm a active duty soldier who is currently deployed.

On the other hand, capital that is not deployed is a safety hedge against disaster.

She only moved in a month ago but doesn't really like the new neighbors is taking care of an ex-husband dog as he's been deployed blah blah...She wasn't thrilled when I let her know that the lease still applied and she still has 11 months left.
