Thanks for clarifying, but I see it is very close to the district's border, I guess the zipcode is driving the price up, so a property next block with a different zipcode will probably not benefit much from university district.

You can invest 50k in RE and 50k in stocks, bonds, mutual funds etc vs atleast 125k+ to purchase a multi-family in nyc then another 7-10 years to be able to save that moneyWith $100K, i can get you $25k+ a year in net income, comfortably, enough for you to even retire south of the border!
