Visitors are down a bit from peak revenge travel, but still way up overall.

The good news is that it is still a popular destination and there are a lot of visitors annually.I have been  in the vacation rental industry for almost 20 years now and have been personally involved in hundred of thousands of reservations.

Maybe right now the pandemic might be impacting visitors, hard to say.

Unless you get a screaming deal in Raleigh, it's hard to find a SFH that can cash flow.

Visitor logs, temp logs (no blanks - all spaces need to be filled in) etc -- be studying CMS guidelines and whatever your state puts out and go with the strictest one. 

. - Seeing faster turn arounds, whilst getting above ask, and still the median sales price is dropping, that screams investors.

@Brian Burke  you are a truly a VISIONARY and COURAGEOUS investor to not have gone running and screaming down the street when you opened the door to this house.  

I wonder how long visitors stay in the area and how many things there are to see/do.
