I only have one rental property but, for what its worth, the tenants I've had have always been very accommodating to allow me to show the house.In fact, one tenant happened to come at the end of a showing and he raved to the applicants about what a great house and neighborhood it was.

Just want to get myself prepared in case something like this happen to my unit one day.Based on some of the posts I read about fire, it seems that most landlords never had to compensate the tenants, and the tenants gladly found their own accommodation without threatening to sue the landlord for breach of contract. thanksMJ

Typically I do some of (most of) the work myself but am thinking that it may be better if I GC’ed the job in order to keep things a little simpler (unfortunately, knowing myself Ill end up getting into something and want to make sure we accommodate for that).We haven’t spoken in detail about structuring things so I thought I would float it here and hopefully some of you will have some advice.
